Not recommended. Over the phone before applying, sounds really legit, but once you apply and get rejected, he stops responding and doesn't even answer anymore questions. Doesn't tell you why you got rejected. Request for a rebuttal or other ways on how to so I can get a loan in the future. No response. Not recommended, go with someone else. Just fyi.

I don’t normally write reviews but this refinance worked out so smoothly that I had to. I tell people I got a great deal on my new refinance loan but that’s only half the story. It’s better to tell you how I got there. 2 words: Ivan Lanz. His communication and follow through allowed my deal to happen. Coworkers introduced me to Ivan Lanz and I immediately felt a difference. Ivan was able to review my proposed loan with my previous lender. Apparently, there were several hidden fees that were bogus that I was unaware of. Ivan helped me so much he was always available to answer my questions even out of office hours he was there to help me every step of the way. Even when I may have pushed him to the edge at times because of my lack of knowledge about the process, he was always patient with me taking time to understand my particular situation, circumstances and background in order to help me get a great loan that best suit my needs. Our experience with Ivan and his team was great. We made an offer on a highly competitive neighborhood to buy a home, it was a Sunday and Ivan was calling us giving us tips and ways to improve our chances of our offer being accepted without risking our finances.
